Occupational Therapy

Helping you live an independent life

Occupational Therapy at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Milton

After an injury or illness, you want to get back to living your life. However, many health problems can affect your ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing household tasks or doing tasks required for your job.

At Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Milton, our occupational therapists can help you regain the ability to perform ADLs with your previous level of independence. Working closely with your doctor, our occupational therapists recommend treatments and strategies to help you recover and get back to living your life.

Care for Getting Back to Work

At BID Milton, we also care for people who’ve been injured on the job and need support before returning to work. We can develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs and the demands of your job. A treatment plan may include education about pain management strategies and tips for preventing reinjury.
