Orthopedic Surgery

Our Rehabilitation Services Department will help you meet your rehabilitation goals with a personal, one-on-one touch. Our staff takes the time to get to know their patients in order to individualize their treatment.

The Rehabilitation Department staff is committed to promoting functional independence using a hands-on approach to help get you home as soon as possible after surgery, or expedite your recovery after an injury.  Our therapists are licensed, experienced and dedicated to ensuring you reach your maximum potential.  Our patients are involved in their treatment every step of the way, and therapists work together with physicians to develop the most effective care plan for each and every patient.

Our therapists provide a complete evaluation and develop individualized treatment plans to meet specific recovery needs and goals for each patient.  Staff work with patients one-on-one to help relieve pain, improve strength, power and endurance, and regain flexibility, coordination and balance.

After surgery, studies show that most times, the best place you can be for recovery is in your own home.  For that reason, getting you home and on your feet as efficiently as possible is our top priority.  Therapists work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff to help reduce your pain and increase your stability as quickly as possible.

Rehab staff partner with orthopedic physicians to help address disorders such as:

  • Musculoskeletal (neck and back pain)
  • Sports injuries
  • Sprains, strains and fractures
  • Adolescent gait issues
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Gait and balance disorders
  • Pre-surgical preparations and instruction

Patients’ satisfaction with our services, including progress and outcomes, are very important to us.  All patients are asked to complete health outcome surveys and patient satisfaction surveys during their treatment course to ensure we are providing compassionate and effective care.
