Senior Retirement Communities (SRC’s) and Assisted Living Facilities (ALF’s) are a wonderful option for seniors who need more help than can be provided at home, but who are not ready for Long-Term Care. BID-Milton physicians are committed to helping patients take advantage of these options by providing on-site care at some of the South Shore’s finest facilities. On-site visits allow even frail seniors to enjoy the benefits of independent living for as long as possible. The Geriatrics Program atBeth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Miltonand the Gerontology Division at BIDMC work together to support these physicians, and the facilities they serve, with up-to-date information and resources for geriatric care.
