Television and Telephone for the Hearing Impaired
For persons with hearing impairment, BID-Milton offers both closed-captioned television stations and adjustable handsets to enhance the volume of your telephone.
Patients may also use the hospital’s Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) to communicate with family or friends. The TDD telephone is located on the ground floor in the Emergency Department and is available for patient use 24 hours a day. To make incoming calls to the TDD, call 617-696-7929.
