Pastoral Care

Beth Israel Deacones Hospital-Milton values the importance of pastoral care and spirituality as part of the healing process for patients of all faith traditions.

A certified Chaplain is available to provide spiritual support to you or your family. The Chaplain also serves as a liaison to faith communities of all denominations in the surrounding area and will arrange for visitation upon request. For more information, please contact the Pastoral Care Office at 617-313-1755.

Roman Catholic patients may receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and/or Reconciliation through a collaborative of parishes that provide daily coverage. Eucharistic Ministers bring Communion to Catholic patients three days a week. Communion for other denominations may be arranged by contacting the Pastoral Care Office.

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton has a non-denominational chapel located on the ground floor where you or your family may seek quiet time for prayer or meditation.
