Richard Fernandez, President

Richard Fernandez started at BID-Milton on January 30, 2017. Mr. Fernandez was formerly Senior Vice President of Ambulatory Services for Brigham and Women’s Health Care, where he was responsible for the strategy, operations and financial performance of the ambulatory services program.  He was also previously Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Steward Medical Group, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and management of the hospital-employed physician groups and management service organization.

Sheilah Rangaviz, Chief Financial Officer

Sheilah Rangaviz is the Chief Financial Officer at Beth Israel Hospital Milton (BID Milton). She is a seasoned healthcare financial executive with a deep understanding of hospital and medical group finance. Sheilah’s expertise in staffing productivity, revenue cycle, and metric-driven dashboards complements her ability to lead analyses in new business lines with an understanding of the integration into the healthcare delivery system.

Dr. Sheila Ryan Barnett, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Sheila Ryan Barnett assumed the position of Chief Medical Officer of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton in September, 2019. Prior to her appointment, she spent four years as the hospital's Chief of Anesthesiology and as a member of the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. With Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Dr. Barnett held several multidisciplinary positions including Chair of the Interventional Procedure Committee, Director of Graduate Medical Education and Medical Director of the Transfer Center. Dr. Barnett is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School.

Angela Fenton, MA, LMHC; Vice President of Ambulatory & Clinical Services

Angela Fenton joined BID Milton in 2012, leading the Bariatric Surgery Program and then assuming the role of Director of Operations of the Center for Specialty Care. Angela has since held the role as Senior Director of Clinical Integration and now Vice President of Ambulatory and Clinical Services to include leadership of the Quincy Urgent Care Center.

Jeannette Currie, Chief Information Officer

Jeannette Currie joined Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton in August 2015 as its Chief Information Officer (CIO). Prior to joining BID-Milton Jeannette was the Executive Director of Information Systems at South Shore Hospital. She has extensive healthcare information systems (IS) experience. She was previously employed at Mount Auburn Hospital as the Assistant Director of IS and for a number of years served as the IS Manager in the corporate office of Caregroup.

David Hyman, Chief Philanthropy And Communications Officer

David Hyman joined Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton as Chief Philanthropy and Communications Officer in April, 2019. He possesses more than 15 years of fundraising experience, including five years working for the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s Philanthropy Office. During his time with the medical center, David was a Senior Major Gifts Officer and Director of Development for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham. Prior to joining BID-Milton, David was Senior Vice President for Mission Advancement for Old Colony YMCA. He received his BA from UMass Boston and an MBA from Brandeis University, Heller School of Social Policy and Management.
